The NB Cares Scholarship program was created to cultivate a skilled workforce; fostering growth, innovation, and community strength by investing in and encouraging educational pursuits, ensuring a future where individuals thrive in fulfilling trade and construction careers.
Scholarship
Eligibility Criteria

Must be a graduating senior of the Class of 2024, or hold a high school diploma or GED.

Have plans to enroll, as a full-time student, in an accredited trade school or accredited construction management degree program for the 2024-2025 academic year. Apprenticeship programs will also be considered.

Must meet entrance requirements for trade school or university in which they are applying.

Be recommended by a teacher, coach, community leader, or mentor, addressing the applicant’s personal or professional achievement. Up to 3 recommendation letters will be accepted.

Demonstrate financial need.

Not be employed at Nation’s Best or a Nation’s Best store at the time of application.

Information

Total scholarship will be up to $1000. Scholarship will be awarded upon receipt of official letter from educational institution providing proof of enrollment.

Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee and graded on the application itself and the criteria mentioned above.

Applications must be submitted through the online portal no later than February 29th.

The notification process will begin in May.
